Had heard a lot about some good things about Delhi and the places in Delhi. Had many a timea heard about the Famous Paranthey Waali Gali - stayed in delhi for quite some time and wanted to go there but this Karma had Never Manifested. But then came the ventful Day when this dream came true....Wao !!!.. - Samay bhi tha aur Dastoor Bhi , so I checked it out :)
Aur hum Pahunch Gaye Paraanthey waali Gali---And if I go there, I have to definitely Eat also :). I read the Menu on the wall and came to know about the " State of the Art" Kareley aur Bhindi ka Paraantha (I never knew about these Paranthas) . I was proud of the Variety & Culture of India , aur meri aankh se ik aansoo Tap se gir Gaya ( Bhavuk ho gaya mein ) Par abhi risk nahi uthaya and ordered one Allu and one Mixed Parantha.
The Rule there is that you have to have minimum two paranthas in a Thali and I think that costs you Rs 60. They give you two Sabzis ( Unlimited nd Achar also )-- The place is small but people from all over Delhi were there and were eating Majey Sey...The Dukaan looks like One World Family - Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ( More of the Family Crowd) but every body eats the Parantha with lot of Focus and Awareness :).
Post this I had ummmmmmmm ....very very good Rabri in an Adjacent Shop...Wah Wah Paranthey ke Baad Rabri....abhi likhtey huey moonh mein paani aa gaya....Kya Rabri thi...muuuuaaaaaah. But picture abhi baaki hai mere dost, Iskey baad I had one Piece of Garma Garam Gulab Jamun....Wah....majaa aa Gaya
Khair Paranthey Khaayeey , Lazeez Lagey but my Judgemental Mind thought why not do a review and put it in the Blog, So My Mind and Chitta gave it a Rating of 3 Stars ( Like the Times of India waali Movie Rating). I compared them with all the Paranthas I had everywhere but this was like OK Ok....Best Paranthas you still get in Murthal ( On Karnal Highway) ( 5 Star Rating).
But Phir bhi I would Say the Chandni Chowk Paranthas are good and worth a Try.....I reaally feel Grateful for the Paranthas, Rabdi and Gulab Jamun I had that Day...The Divine gives you happiness in so many Forms - Paranthey Waali Gali is one of them.
So Next time you go to Delhi, Go to Chandni Chowk aur Bharpet Bhojan Karna..Phir you can go to Murthal and try those Parathas as well....Phir Bangla Sahib Jaakar Bhajan Karna... Bhojan aur Bhajan mein Sharam nahi karni Chahiyey....Give your 100 % and enjoy every bit of the paranthas....
abhi ke Liye alvida....aaaj mujhey Ghar mein Rajmaa chawal khaney hain....and am again grateful to the Divine......... Divine is Great ....ummmmmmmhhhhhhh!!!!
